Hypo clearing agent works invisibly, that is, you can't tell by looking if
it's cleared -- so you need a guage for how many it's safe to put through
it.

With gum clearing, you see the difference -- which varies according to
size of print, thickness of the paper, and depth of the stain. Watch how
long it takes the first print to clear, when it starts to take a whole lot
longer --- mix fresh.
