First, this forum has been surprisingly on topic the last 6 months, taking
all the possibillities for various OT topics these days into account!
Generally I do enjoy reading the various observations or opinions people
have whether I agree with it or not, and although my main reason for reading
this list is alt photo, the "human" side of this is much appreciated.
now, last month there was a thread on another email list I am lurking on
(yellowdog linux newbie) which started up in a similar manner to the emails
that started this subject (a signature), however in oposition to this place
it took off a bit "harder"..

scroll down almost to bottomn of the page and read the thread "Monitor
Problem" it is about 35 mails and the subject change name a couple of times
but is fairly linear. Ends with "Apologies to the list" a bit further down.
(& second lesson here is that whatever is written in a list-mail ends up in
an archive, accessible,,)
so bite the keyboard, but not too hard please else it gets boring :)
