Here is a cheap source for some chemicals . The price varies
depending on amount ordered listed in the 2002- 2003 catalog. Potassium
Dichromate ($3.20 /lb for 50 pounds , $3.90/Lb for 5 pounds , $4.75/lb for
one pound. ) and Gum Arabic( $17 /gal or $4.00/ lb for 10 lbs, $4.70 /
lb for 5 pounds , for to $5.30 / lb for one pound dry ) , The catalog
has lots of dry pigments and other chemicals typically used for pottery but
I would think many of the pigments may be able to be used for Alt- Photo
processes .
In case any of you ever come to your senses and want to try a
different hobby, you can even order some pottery making materials !

I am concerned that with the current state of security affairs that
sooner or later it will be extremely difficult to purchase chemicals. I
would think by now that there are many people in the Middle East that
would feel fully justified by now by sending something toxic or
dangerously stupid thru the mail just to tie things up and create havoc
...... It is probably just a matter of time..
