Hey everyone,

So the water pump in our home busted a couple of days ago. we have recently
gotten a new one installed. i understand one thing that had to be done was
the water had to be 'shocked', or treated with a small amount of chlorine.
so for the next day or so there will be traces of chlorine in our water
supply. i've showered in and consumed (albeit a small amount) this water,
and i can smell and taste a hint of the chlorine. now i'm doing a series of
Cyanotypes as well as experimenting with Gum. will this be detrimental to
the prints if i wash them in this water? More important is the Cyanotypes,
as i'm trying to finish this series as i have portfolio reviews this
weekend, and i would like these Cyanotypes to be included.

any idea of the effect it will have?

thanks,

Steve

--- In fact, rock, rather than being an example of how freedom can be
achieved within the capitalist structure, is
an example of how capitalism can, almost without a conscious effort,
deceive those whom it oppresses...So
effective has the rock industry been in encouraging the spirit of
optimistic youth take-over that rock's truly
hard political edge, it's constant exploration of the varieties of
youthful frustration, has been ignored
     and softened. --Michael Lydon
