RE: lith film and pinholes

I am convinced that many factors can disrupt the thin emulsion layer from
its base in lith film, and fluctuating temperature can be a culprit. I have
tried to hold temperatures between developer and the next series of trays
constant, within a degree or so. (My guess is that it is the relative change
rather than the precise temperature that matters). I had noticed that my
developer tended to be warmer than the hypo for somewhat obscure reasons
that I can (but wont) hypothecate about. Under that circumstance I noted the
pinholes. The other suggestions that were posted may be even more
significant, but that was the adjustment I made that seemed to do the trick.
Lith is just more fragile - an unscientific assessment, but almost certainly
valid. Joachim

Don't keep us in suspense -- what KIND of temperature control? Do you
mean all at constant temperature... if so, which? Or simply no CHANGES in
temperature? Or... ?
