Wendy:

I love Arches Platine paper, had some experience with Strathmore which I
consider inferior to platine. I coat the paper, hang it up in a dark
bathroom and use a hair dryer with low setting.

I use a puddle pusher and like it.

If you gain experience with other papers, I hope you'll let me know.
