Hi Carl,

I have never tested Pyrocat with stacks of film but I can see no reason it
will not work well with this kind of development. It certainly works well
with continuous agitation in tubes and drums. Since the image stain with
Pyrocat is almost as intense as with PMK and ABC+ I don't fully understand
why the uneven staining problem that many people have experienced with
these developers is virtually eliminated with Pyrocat. However, I think it
may be due to the amount of oxidation (or its byproducts) that the
developer produces, much less with Pyrocat than with PMK and ABC+. You can
easily see this in the developer after it is used, as the color with PMK
and ABC+ is much darker than with used Pyrocat.
