"Kachin" is one of the old names for Catechol (Pyrocatechin). Perhaps
"Cachin" is a variant of "Kachin"?
If so,
   Catechol (1,2 dihydroxybenzene)
   CAS: 120-80-9
Other names: Pyrocatechin, Pyrocatechol, Catechin, Kachin
Best regards,
Charles
