status of Platine

There was some discussion on the list recently concerning quality control
issues of Arches Platine:mottling, not using Tween,etc. I, too, had
experienced some mottling of the paper when wet, but it dries without any
staining. The lot # was not one that we were advised to avoid.

Have these issues been resolved, and are printers who used Tween20 with
Platine continuing to do so?

I ordered a few sheets from Daniel Smith yesterday, but the salesperson was
not able to determine the lot#.

Does Martin Axon sell the paper directly?
